Well, darn. It looks like the extended slide stop I discarded may have been a King's.
They just don't look like the catalog illustration.

I really miss King's, I like their extended safety and especially their Hardball and National Match sights fitting the GI dovetail without a hundred bucks milling machine time for somebody's fancy fixed sight.
