It's supposed to rain all day so I decided to detail strip my DW PM9. This is my first 1911 and the second time I've given it a detail strip. The gun has been running great but I want to get more familiar with the parts and how they work. Once I got it completely apart, I cleaned and applied a light film of oil to every piece. I didn't notice anything being particularly dirty. Once I had it back together, I dry fired it a number of times. I swear it seems like the slide racked smoother and the trigger felt even better than normal. Or was it just my imagination?
