All I have are the 2 stage triggers. Thought I had a 1 stage in the tool box, good luck with your search.

How do you like the larue 2 stage?

The single stage doesn't have very good reviews.

Go tool around AR15.com. Lots of AR trigger discussions.

Thanks everyone, I ordered a MBT- 2S flat trigger today. Just have to try one. All good reviews. I already have the geissele SSA-E, so I will see what it's all about.

I have the 2 stage in a Colt and a LWRC. I like it a lot, wish they had the flat trigger when I ordered mine. I like it better than the Wilson 2 stage also, I have that one in another Colt.

Just did, the geissele SSA-E is the best that I have personally felt and is staying in my build. The Larue does feel better than I thought it would. I think for $87 shipped you can't beat it, but the SSA-E is better.

There are a crap ton of great triggers available now. Many traditional and about a dozen cassette triggers

    I have a ATC AR Gold flat cassette, a G ssa-e, sd-c, sd-e, and a Larue mbt-2s flat.

Honestly I think it is like they say, it's all personal preference. They all have differences but I like all of them equally. I'd like to try the flat mbt-1s as well. The mbt-2s reset isn't as pronounced as the others.

And I agree, the Larue triggers are the best for the money IMO. The others don't compare for the price point. And really it's poor man's G trigger except it's made inside a rolls royce airplane engine factory(not really, just saying they are top notch). They are beautiful triggers. Machining is as good as it gets.

Well, the LaRue is nice for the money, but the SSA-e is better.

    Thanks everyone for your help,

Trigger shoe on the LaRue is the best I've ever used. Have the two stage version and compared to all my SSA-E's, I'd put them almost on par. The Geissele is marginally better, but at 1/3 the price, unless you're doing some serious long range shooting with your AR, the LaRue will fit the bill just nicely.
From now on I'll be using LaRue's on my builds. Nothing wrong with the SSA series, just not worth the increase in cost IMHO. Course that's like the Camry vs. BMW 3 Series argument, but whatevs.
