First time I will have shot it since circa 1972.

@retrieverman and I had it identified. When were 12yo, if you'd saved enough money from the hayfields and walking beans, we could buy our own big boy shotguns. I chose an ithaca 37 featherlite (in 16 ga) a couple years later my brother bought same shotgun but in 20ga, he always was smarter than me.
I knocked down an awful lot of roosters with that gun. One year they had a "longest tail feather " of the season wins a new Browning A-5. I had ,by far, the longest == until the last day of the season!! True story. Talk about one heart broken hillbilly boy. Not only pheasants, its taken many rabbits, squirrel and scores of quail. I was once trippled on a covey, verified and another true story. Sorry for the derail

Great shotguns, congratulations OP. Great leftie gun as well

If you are familiar with the scenes etched on both sides of the reciever, easy to ID. @farbaldguy cleverly hid the fiber optic front sight Great shottie, that clearly brings back a lot of memories for me. RIP Dad

Looks damn near perfect to me! I love older pump shotguns. Especially the ones with wood, I just don't care for plastic on a scattergun.

Didn't exactly choose to hide it. New phone camera, and I was too close to get a total length shot.:)

Nice job....CHOICE!!! Pat yourself on the back for saving a cool older firearm or pour 3 more fingers of your favorite.
