Ive been to that in person. It is one of the most reverent and emotional times Ive had in DC besides the 9/11 memorial. God bless our soldiers past and present.

    Thanks for sharing Joe.

Yes indeed fellas, glad you enjoyed the video. I actually got to lay the wreath at the tomb in the spring of 1990. I was in the 8th grade...a supreme honor.

Nobody laughs at the tomb and they should get slapped up side of the head. With people of my generation, respect is expected.. It's not touted or rewarded.. it's expected. Ron

It makes me sick to hear the laughter. Some people are so damn ignorant of certain things in life.

    The Sentinel's Creed

My dedication to this sacred duty
    is total and whole-hearted.
In the responsibility bestowed on me
    never will I falter.
    And with dignity and perseverance
    my standard will remain perfection.
Through the years of diligence and praise
and the discomfort of the elements,
I will walk my tour in humble reverence
to the best of my ability.
It is he who commands the respect I protect,
his bravery that made us so proud.
Surrounded by well meaning crowds by day,
alone in the thoughtful peace of night,
this soldier will in honored glory rest
    under my eternal vigilance.

Some People can't imagine something that's bigger than themselves. It's a shame people have failed their children that way. I say let that guard teach them the respect that their parents failed too.
