"Ivory" G-10 on blued 1911s?

I like and have used both, I think each serves a slightly different purpose. I like the VZ "ivory" G10 for the look it provides as well as the traction available from the different patterns it can be had in. I prefer a grip that has some measure of abrasiveness, not necessarily brutally coarse but something that provides a measure a traction and the stocks from VZ do a good job at this.

The Boone Trading Co stocks are great for a traditional 'smooth' ivory look, as you can see they go quite well on a polished blue gun. These are mammoth ivory which can be easier to source than elephant ivory.
