The NCOs in my platoon made it a practice to go bufforilla hunting whenever possible. Why wait for NYE.

What's the old saying. If you want to increase your numbers lower your expectations! Or something like that.

Probably the true source of the term Omega ugly......where you sneak your arm out from under the "beautiful" woman you went home with at 3 AM....(as most still there are as desperate as I was at that time) and by chewing your own arm off and leaving your wrist watch in order not to wake her up as you skulk out of her house. Fortunately I have never had to sneak someone out of my house under a blanket or tarp at daybreak. All the fortunate beauties I took back to the "Temple"(as we referred to my pink house with white trim in North Portland) were worthy of being taken home the next morning. The only one that took a cab home was a gorgeous woman who tried to wake me up to drive her home at sunrise and I was too far gone to stand up. She was a keeper(at least in 1980)and actually left her pearl necklace......I did contact her the following Monday to return it.....She said that she no longer needed them....Hmm? Called her one year later and she was engaged to the guy she had related the entire nights events to "who understood". Good times.
