. . . . I run across THIS . . . . .
It's all yours @ZoidMeister I won't bid against you.
Just goes to show how these semi customs/custom 1911's are affordable to the masses. Unlike those high end guns that are truly out of the realm of 99% of people..
No competition for me, brother. Step on up...
Post pics after you receive them, Zoid.
All yours Z
One of Beretta's half dozen or so retail stores (in the world), is located in Dallas, TX. The wife and I went down there one day mainly for entertainment purposes. We weren't disappointed.
As you go in the store, you're greeted by a display case immediately to the right which has got to have one of the biggest Bowie knives in the world - and for as impractical as it was, it was also equally beautifully finished out. Their collection of shotguns for sale, started at a low of $180,000 and went up from there (and I do mean, waaay up). One that caught my eye, was bargain-priced at $235,000 (just under $255K with sales tax). They had quite a selection available in that price range. I told my wife, that even though that cost more than our house, if she really wanted to "splurge" just a little for my birthday....
I did tell her to not waste her money on the $12,000 stock (unfinished wood only). And to think there are people walking around with that kind of money, geeze....
Ive done the same there is a local store that has a couple 6 figure guns.. I told her I only wanted the 92k one.. Works of art for sure.. Way out of my pay grade though! also why I get so irked by those that think your well to do when you own a WC, NHC, EB, GI, etc. etc. etc.
Oh but I'm a sucker for a no reserve auction!
Your going to have to sell a lot more polishing rags.....
No, no. We have perpetually empty pockets.
Troof . . . . .
and I thought the GB auction for 5 premium, now no longer produced german made Sigs for 15 grand was high priced!!
I have deep pockets........ but all that is in them is a little lint.
If those aren't enough for you, there are always the high end AMT's. Hardballer's, Javelin's, and then there is this one . . . . an AutoMag . . . .
Price is currently bid up to $30,000 . . . . with two days left . . . . .
Classic Firearms had a bunch of Lugers up for sale a while ago.
I knew I made a mistake by selling that rusty, blood pitted,
Luger that Hitler killed himself with for $500 a few years ago!!
I'm so broke I gotta put 'free' on layaway cause I aint got no gas money.
