I never thought I would sell this for sentimental reasons, as I carried it daily for 4 years--but it's been tucked in the back of my safe for over two years and needs to go somewhere it will be shot. I had over 5,000 rounds through it without a single failure, nothing, nada, zip, it was the ultimate EDC as I knew it would go bang if I needed it. Finally, about 2 years ago I had a local smith replace the mainspring, firing pin spring and I put a new recoil spring assembly on it and shot it once, cleaned it and put it away. It's sat ever since.

As the original owner, I have every single piece of paper that it was delivered with; 4 Kimber magazines (which I love personally) and a brand new recoil spring assembly ($48.95) as they should be replaced every 1,500 to 1,800 rounds. I even have a NDZ plastic take-down tool I'll include ($16.95).

It has one small blemish which I have take a close up of, in an effort for full disclosure.

    Product Description

The Kimber Aegis is a 9 mm pistol that combines the real-world advantages of a 1911 in a platform with a smaller grip.

Light weight, compact and absolutely reliable, Aegis® models are built in the Kimber Custom Shop for shooters with small hands. Thin grips, altered controls and rounded edges make them easy to shoot. A great single-stage 1911 trigger that breaks clean at 4-5 pounds makes them easy to shoot accurately. Standard features include night sights, 30-lines-per inch front strap checkering and a premium two-tone KimPro II finish that is both self-lubricating and extremely resistant to moisture.

    • Ultra Aegis II Features
    • Carry Melt treatment for rounded and blended edges that will not snag clothing or holsters
    • Tactical Wedge Tritium 3-dot night sights are securely mounted in machined dovetails
    • Thin rosewood grips with ball-milled flutes ensure a positive grip while reducing grip diameter to better fit shooters with smaller hands
    • Wide slide serrations, bobbed thumb safety, smooth magazine release set the Aegis apart
    • Lightweight aluminum frame and 3-inch match grade ramped bull barrel combine to ensure comfortable concealed carry
$750, shipped and insured to your FFL

I have this gun in the Pro size (commander for the non-Kimberers out there) and have had the same results with it... It shoots and feels better than most of the Kimbers I own/have owned.

Having had amazing luck with the Kimbers I have owned I would buy this in a New York minute if you were in California

This would make an amazing first 1911 for a son, daughter or wife as it has an aluminum frame or even a glove box/console gun. The extra recoil spring assembly and 2 additional magazines are worth another $100.

I'll knock it down to $700, shipped and insured FFL to FFL

$650, shipped and insured or I'd trade it for a G43 with some cash
