Underwood 40 S&W and 10mm monolithics.

Recently bought some monolithic (copper) bullets and will be doing some of my own loads soon. Can't afford a steady diet of Underwood!

A hit to the brain-housing unit will do the trick regardless of the bullet type.

Don't know about that as I seem to recall reading quite a few articles of late about people surviving being shot in the head.

Sure...a glancing shot in the head with a small caliber is survivable. A .45 crashing through the sinus cavity and brain is a stopper.

I suspect that many of those survived head shots were due to those nuclear/lung blowing 9mms I keep hearing about.
