Korth .44 Magnum

    Saw a short video they put up on Instagram about a .44 magnum they’re releasing this year. They’re calling it the thunderstorm. It has their traditional cylinder release and a rather tactical looking barrel.

    Anyone know anything about it?

    First I have heard of it. Would have been announced at SHOT if it were a real announcement. Nothing I can find on it.

    Just my opinion, and not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, but that thing is hideous.

    Agreed. Hopefully, if it comes to market, they will offer a version with a more traditional looking barrel.

    I’m not a fan of the styling of Lollar Korths. Give me my vintage Ratzeburg models from the 70’s and 80’s.

    I find them a lot nicer anyway.

    Some more pics. Still not digging the barrel. But with a traditional vent ribbed barrel it could be pretty sweet.

    Something is not right--looks like a ss screw and some of the others are buggered up grips worn. Not a new gun by any stretch or ???. May be a prototype of some sort. Who knows.

    I’m guessing prototype. They say it will be available this year. The grips hurt my eyes but that’s an easy fix. They haven’t responded on whether it will be available with a more tasteful barrel.

    They also have a .22 version that’s even uglier.
