What do you guys know about this gun. I looked at one today with my buddy and they want $1440 w/ 120rds of ammo. Neat looking gun. It has 6"barrel and my buddy wants it bad. You guys are more knowledgable than me. HELP!!

In great shape and with all that expensive ammo, the price is fair. Remember, the blued models sell for quite a bit less than the hard chrome guns.

A friend of mine owned one in the late 80s. Awesome round but that grip, front to back, is looonnnggg.

His ran fine and really was a lot of fun.

Ammo is relatively hard to find and expensive, same with extra mags and LAR is out of the 1911 business from what I understand. We used to have one as a rental gun and we just took one in on consignment today. Asking $300.00 but will deal.

I was offered one for 1000 even last month. It's a hoss. Not the blued version either. Didn't fit my 1911 plans. Guy had 10mm and 45acp conversions for it too.

I lusted after this gun nearly 25-30 years ago.
Hands are smallish and the damn thing was too expensive.
Unless it had plenty of mags with brass to reload I think I would pass. Begrudgingly so.
    Quality not the issue.
