Will the .380 laser cartridges of most Dry Fire/Laser training systems fit in and stay in place in a S&W .38 SP Revolver cylinder as it rotates? We have both and why buy extra parts

Sorry to say, it wouldn’t work in a wheel gun. 38 special has a rim at the base of the case unlike a 380 auto.

oh well, i was hoping the o-rings that most cartridges have would secure the .380 in the .38 cylinder
