Why not get the Garret and rig for IWB? Hard to envision a better shell than theirs

Update, Dave is awesome. After a little back and forth I realize my plan of trying to tuck a full size 1911 with an X300 and enclosed dot AIWB may be ambitious, and I’m better off with his Okami OWB rig for this setup.

More specifically, it’s the added size of the light and optic that have me shifting from AIWB. A full size non rail 1911 is perfectly comfortable appendix, but man the footprint with the X300 added really increases, then even with a wedge the rotation then pushes the mailbox RCR out making it print.
