Ive been carrying pistols either semi professionally or personally for the better part of 20 years. Ive mostly carried concealed, and IWB at that. Ive used galco tuckable holsters for my glocks, Kimber, and other guns Ive had. In winter time I ocassionally use a kydex owb holster, as long as I can conceal it with a zip up fleece or the like (usually all I wear in the winter). Lately Ive bought the DW guardian, Sig P226 (x2), and a MC operator. And was thinking I would like to have some nicer holsters for at least the sig and guardian. Ive also been using Alien Gear cloak tuck 3.0 holsters and they are fine if I need to conceal more. So... Mr605 at the wheels was kind enough to loan me his commander OWB holster for a week. WoW!!!! Talk about ALL DAY comfort. I then piggybacked an order for a leather OWB holster for my Sig Legion. Its not quite broken in, but its the bees knees too.... For a large doublestack gun, its all day comfy too. I just cant get over how much better a decent leather owb holster is. Either I'm slightly too "thick around the middle" anymore, or something.... But even my lightest guns in an ok IWB holster just aren't the same. Now I just need a warbird leather IWB+OWB holster for the guardian. Looks like end of the month Ill be able to get one. Cant wait. Of course, then Ill have to have one for my G27. lmao.
