Only time I came close to shooting a poodle was up camping and a Standard poodle a Black Lab bolted out of the trailer.....No leash as we were walking my Jack Russels (one a puppy) VA Grabbed the puppy and I kicked to the other away while reaching for my NAA Pug....

The owners finally came out about 2 seconds before I put them both down.

The owner claimed they were both nice dogs and would have never bitten anyone.....Tell me that again when I have bit marks on my shoes and pant legs.

There's a beretta 92 around here somewhere and a CZ p-01. Really love the BECed out g19, the Sig p938, and the p-01. The Springer is a jam-o-matic. The colt was just bought for the roll mark to send off to turn into a .38 super.
    Here's a real poodle shooter. .380 20170121_170005.jpg

I know my feelings are not based on fact.
But if I had a drugged and enraged 350lb muscular male attempting to do
me great bodily injury, I'd MUCH prefer a 45 with 230gr hollowpoints.
    Old school I guess.

I carry 230gr Ranger SXT, not bonded, not +p.
I guess it's a step behind some of the current tech, but it's
been stored well and is from a vetted lot.
    Minimal flash/blast compared to some.

Got the wife a box of Winchester 'Elite'.....?
for her new P365. 124gr +p bonded jacketed hollow point.
Box says 1200fps. No mention of bbl length,
    'low flash'.
Looks like the Ranger SXT design.

She has been using Speer Gold Dot 147gr. GDHP,
(no ballistic info on box), no +p label,
    in her Glocks.
