This 1979 Colt has a couple of classic 80's mods, better sights, Ambi Safety, commander hammer, Rat-tail grip safety, 3 hole trigger, Pachmayr grips. . . everything you needed, nothing you didn't. Gun has some carry wear, but nothing ugly, well cared for gun overall, nice trigger. Box is missing the flap with label, so anyone's guess if its 'original', but it is correct period with correct ppwk

This set has a little of the checkering rubbed smoothish on the LH panel at the bottom, if they were nicer I'd have put other grips on it Pretty fussy about my rubbers

You gotta be, especially when dealing with used ones! One little split like that can have lifechanging ramifications.
