Took my Custom springer for my weekly range practice today and after my coworker and I got done doing our EP (we have a big job on the 26th of Oct.) qualification course of fire, we decided to mess around with some precision shooting. I was able to nail 14 out of 16 shots at a head sized round target from 55 yards out! This gun is awesome! I got lucky, but obviously this gun is way more accurate than I had ever imagined! I knew it performed exceptionally in the normal combat distance (7 yards and in) as it should with all the work I've had done to it but damn! 14 out of 16 at a 7-8 inch round steel target from 50-55 yards out?? Very satisfied!

    Good job.

I can't see 55 yards away much less shoot something the size of my hand

Nice. I hit a oppossum at 55 yards with my No Name before leaving Texas. It was awesome!

I enjoy doing distance shooting with duty handguns. There's something satisfying and confidence-building about the exercise. It reinforces the fundamentals in a rather direct and startling way.

    Good times. :thumb:

I was standing up, no rests. My best friend who carries a Glock 21 could not hit it at all. And he does consistently better than I at the close range/self defense distance. I think it is a tribute to the quality of the piece. Higher quality steel, tighter barrel/bushing and just an overall better gun's performance will show at longer distances
