I am a little bit North of Niagara Falls. I have heard good things about Dan Bedell. A colleague of mine had Mr. Bedell build him a gun and he raves about it. I may contact him for some basic pistolsmithing work. I appreciate the welcome.

I have been reading and enjoying the forum for the last few years. I have learned a lot and enjoy the discussions, so I figured I should join and support the forum.

I acquired my first 1911 style pistol about 20 years ago and so it began. One led to another which led to another etc. I mainly shoot recreationally, target and plinking. I was recently asked to join a pistol league, which I believe will help my shooting, so I hope to explore that.

I am from Western New York (yeah, I know, NY) and look forward to continuing to learn from everybody and occasionally post myself.
