Needed to get out of the house so I made my way to a couple shops to look at pistols. I wasn’t shopping, just wanted to look around.

Stopped into a great shop here in Spokane and in the used case was this beauty! A 1998 M1991A1 Commander with some custom work. Needless to say my “not shopping” turned into money on the table. Can’t wait to shoot this thing.

EDIT: The shop said work was done by Morris Customs and that turns out to be false. No worries from me, I’m still excited about this gun.

I’ve ended up with a lot of “just looking around” guns!! Nice Colt.
I know who built that gun and it was "NOT" Mark Morris.

Do tell. Just going off what the shop owner told me. But given what I paid I’m not at all surprised. So it looks to be Morris parts and a mystery smith.

Oooooh, the plot thickens.

Oh cool! I’d love to hear more. Feel free to IM me if you’d care to share.

This is turning into a Scooby-Doo episode. 🤣

Tri-glide trigger system. I had one installed on my Kimber Ultra Carry back in the 90s. Set at 2-pound crisp break.

Sharp Shooting. Thanks for the trigger info. That was the one thing Magnum P.I. Couldn’t recall. 👍
