I'm in the market for an AR15 to utilize on patrol. Just curious if anyone on this forum is looking to part with one. Prefer bcm, daniel defense, or the like. Plus if it already has an optic. Also have a WC 1911 for trade possibly.

    Thanks in advance

Look on ar15.com. When i was an active LEO i ran a Noveske Upper on a Ruger lower with a CMC 3.5# flat trigger. That gun would flat out shoot!!!

The last patrol rifle I bought was a Sig 556, it was a great rifle, accurate and never missed a beat.

What sort of WC 1911? If it's on the CA roster I might have a safe queen BCM that could fit your bill. I quickly put together a 6.5 grendel after so it's got a box through it. Wouldn't ever sell it but I might trade (possibly with cash) for a 1911. My addiction is strong. :)

    Honestly,

Buy a Colt 6920-OEM (easily had for $675 shipped. Add rail, buttstock, trigger guard. Easily under $1000 and is the most reliable rifle out of the box.

BCM is nothing but an assembler, they do not manufacture anything and do not have the track record nor service history as Colt or FN. The 6920 is arguably the most battle proven/tested AR-15 variant and for good reason. Don’t fall for BCM’s “operator approved” marketing blitzkrieg if it’s a duty rifle you’re trusting you’re life to.

I agree with the above post but BCM only assembles quality parts. So they've gotten a lot of guys to drink their koolaid.
