I'm seriously considering purchasing the latest version of the Savage 110 Scout.
I recently sold my Springfield M1A Scout Squad which was the only rifle in my safe and am feeling like I need to replace it with something similar.
I dont have a real need for a major caliber rifle/carbine but like to have one readily available.
The new 110 has some cool features and is reasonably priced.
Any of you guys own one and if so, any feedback?

Yeah, love the AR 10 type rifles but I'm looking for a rifle that doesn't resemble an AR, thinking ahead towards the unthinkable, hoping bolt action wont end up on the future ban list, if that makes any sense.
Although the FDE color stock might make some anti's lose their bladder control.

I had the same thought, so went with the Ruger Gunsite Scout (because they have a left-hand version). I was living in NJ at the time, so any AR-type rifle was a headache in time and cost to be made compliant. The boring / old / innocent bolt action was a breeze to purchase and transfer in, no one gave it a second thought - but with a 16” barrel, 10 round magazine, and red dot or low magnification optic, it’s a formidable platform.
