Good luck. Finding someone to do a really good HC job is very tricky these days. Be advised it's my first choice for a 2 tone.

I love the 2 tone just have a lust for for a full HC chrome one
Needing to send an old WC Accucomp out for full chrome. Thinking about Mahovsky’s Metalife. They have been around for a long time.

APW did my Colt super when they were still in Fla. The job was impeccable and several friends used them before they moved. I think their reputation is still intact.

Not sure who he uses, but @Don WIlliams has done 2 guns for me with hard chrome (one just the frame, and the other the whole gun) and they were awesome.

I have used Mahovsky’s Metalife for several guns and small parts on 1911s and one Smith revolver. The quality has been high, price pretty good, and turnaround time was excellent each time. Last time I looked, the company website was not great, but I have always just called to inquire on pricing and with CC info for payment.

I’ve used Bob Cogan -APW Cogan - besides Metalife, I consider him the chrome guru and nice to work with. I know more than a few smiths sub out to him, as well as Metalife, for chrome.
