Over the weekend I fell in love--with Mandy Backmans Wilson combat that is.

you can see it pictured in the following link:

https://www.google.com/search?q=man...LrzqbUAhWBRSYKHeTBCTMQsAQIMg&biw=1366&bih=638

Placed an order for a CQB versionwithout the light rail.

another issue presented. I ordered a Stainless Cqb a while back. It will have polished slide sides and matte finish elsewhere and it will have G maskus black gray grips

I FOUND a picture of that exact gun in this search link( that was on Friday) So excited, showed my wife. she liked it too.

woke up Saturday morning and tried to view it again... it was gone

it was a post on IMGRUM.org( the instagram viewer. ) I have spent all weekend trying to find that pic and I cannot( the reposter has an unusual pen name-- I think it was from a child story or fairytale)

any ideas? I found a few other WC pics like it but NOT this exact model ...arghhhhhh!!!!

That is a beautiful pistol. I can hardly wait to see how yours turns out. The more pics, the better.

I have only possessed one WC. It was several years ago; & that one was a much earlier two-tone CQB with black slide & green frame.

It was a very nice working man's pistol. I think that finish would have lasted my lifetime. It wasn't a pretty pistol like the ones you see now; but that is exactly what I now prefer to carry.

I realized way too late that a man needs pistols that are TOOLS & not just a bunch of "safe queens." I will shoot everything that I own on occasion, "safe queen" or not; but I won't carry some beautiful masterpiece of art & subject that to holster wear.

In other words, I could kick my own @$$ for selling that pistol.

You live, you learn.

I hope yours turns out as good as that picture. That's a sweet piece.

Well, time for me to get back to sitting, smashed into a tiny Kia next to my sleeping Grandson, making the long ride back from Kitty Hawk, NC to the Shenandoah Valley of VA. A week goes by way too fast!

kellington,

thanks for the kind words.

the pic in the post above is what keeps me going . Knowing it will be here in the fall is tough. Not as bad as years past though with 8-16 month waits for non SG guns.

don't worry about what you traded or sold. Look forward to buying another to replace your lost friend
