Just picked up a new Ruger LW 9mm Officer and I'm wondering about the mag capacity. Ruger's web site shows 7+1 but I can put 8 rounds in both of the mags.
Are the mags 8 round Checkmates?

if that same gun is offered in .45 I have found that sometimes they (manufacturers on websites) do not update the mag capacity for the 9mm models.

BTW, Buds and USACarry list the 9mm as 8+1
