@bac1023 has a great 1911 guide that the pistol is reviewed in. If I remember correctly, he thought it was pretty nice for the money.

YeahI agree. Obviously it costs a bit more for me with the Australian dollar being so weak but it's definitely a great product. I'm already planning on getting a second one

I owned a commander model (1911C) for several years. Had no performance issues with it. Steel frame & slide. I did replace the barrel bushing as the factory one was thinner than most and was getting distorted...
