Yeah..... No falling icicles in Tucson this year. Reaching 70 degrees today. o_O

We're watching Ralphie right now, it never gets old to me every time it comes on.
The television in the family room has it on a constant loop today. The volume is turned down and nobody is there watching it (except one of the dogs) but its kind of a family tradition.

We’d take these to Lake Powell and shoot pop cans, lots of fun. We actually wore one out, luckily we brought two.

When I was 11 and stumbled into an NRA air rifle program at a local park, it was this rifle with "match sights". Got hooked, shot out a lot of light bulbs! ;)

never quit, still shoot, except no light bilulbs! ;)
Just ordered this for my brother. :D

I moved to a house a few years back that unknown to us we were housing rats and bats. I was finding peach seeds in the attic, and we had two peach trees in the backyard that was dumping anywhere from 20-30 small have eaten or rotten peaches on the ground the first season every day. I was feeding the damn rats and housing them. I could not figure out how they were getting in as the Orkin guy told me unless they have a water supply inside, they are leaving and returning. I bought me glue traps and one evening around midnight I heard clattering in the attic.

I saw a big rat bench pressing and ripping hair away from the glue trap. I trapped him in a box, but I bought me a Red Ryder Lever Action BB gun to minimize damage in the attic. The damn thing shoots left. I have to hold a little right to put out a rat.

Anyway... I found where they were entering as they were dragging insulation out with them (so I found the clue), I sealed it up and got rid of the rest to include them damn peach trees!

I was disappointed in the Red Ryder but I still have it and have to verbalize aim right.

How can you not laugh and love that movie. It’s a prerequisite on Christmas Day in our house that it’s watched at least once.

I took my neighbor and his son out shooting for the first time last week. We had a great time shooting .22s and some 9mm. The most fun though was just standing there trading shots with his son’s Red Ryder. My 12 year old daughter , his 6 year old son and the two dads just laughing and giggling shooting the classic BB gun.
