Dropped off my DW Specialist at Steve’s shop this morning. I am very impressed how he took the time to from his busy schedule to go over all the work that was to be done on this handgun. Great guy to talk handguns with.
No he’s not! Don’t let him fool you!;)

Naw, just kidding! He’s great, we’ve met at each other’s houses a few times and get along great.

Was great meeting you as well, @Mike Paskievitch. I have been fortunate enough to have a total of 4 members from this forum so far come to my house.. First one from out of state this time though..
If it would of been warmer out we would of probably put a few rounds down range.
Dont fancy guns go bang in the cold ?

You know I just thought about this @Mike Paskievitch you ought to come down to KY with us to the Addict shoot this year. No further away from here that you are, it's only about another 4 hours down there. I think that is what it took me last year. I will have to have @limbkiller share that address with me again. So, I can find my way back there.. One more trip and I'll remember how to get there..

That shoot sounds interesting. Had a good day today.
You would love the shoot, nothing but a bunch of us good old boys getting together shooting the ****, shooting at targets, blowing **** up, eating good food, telling good jokes, and just hanging out. A bunch of fun for sure.. 1st week in June..

I just found out 1st day in JUNE so Saturday June 1st.. And for those who don't know I will be making a trip the end of this Month up to meet WWB and Boatdoc.. As well as a nephew I have never met that is 32 years old. My brothers Son, who was taken by his Mother to Mass and we never heard from him until about a month and a half ago. So, I am pretty stoked. I'm gonna take a few days off and go have some fun lol...

LOL.. you should know @bobo.

Steve is a great person. He is honest, friendly and knows his guns. His talent has amazed many on this forum. We are watching him come up in the world of gunsmithing. I admire him and his skills.

did he show off his private range?

Have unfortunately not been able to meet Steve in person. We do talk regularly and I think have developed a great relationship. Will be trying to meet him along with many more addicts later in June at the shootout. All the comments on his character and knowledge has been understated. This guy is the real thing. Glad he’s a friend.

That's actually my biggest concern is the trip up and back, I don't handle road trips as good as I used to, since I sleep sitting up lol. It seems it makes it easier for me to want to sleep as I'm driving.

All you guys have to give yourselves some credit for where I am and what I'm doing the ones that encouraged and even the ones that tried to discourage pushed me on in one way or another.

I still have a ton to learn, but its an exciting and interesting journey, and meeting the fine folks of this forum is just an added bonus. Honestly this forum and the people in turned things around in my life. Restored a bit of faith in humanity for me, as I pretty much thought we were doomed as a people lol. But, not the case its been a pleasure and will continue to be a pleasure and a goal to somehow meet as many of you as I can throughout what's left of my life and career as a gunsmith. Thanks again everyone for the flattery and kind words you guys are great and I'm not to shy to take it LMBO...

You have a phone number or an email address? It's been suggested I talk to him about some work.
