    Morning,

I just came a crossed a used Ed Brown Kobra Carry with a mirror polished finish on it. I had never seen one like this before and can't seem to find much info on it. I was told it came from EB this way and I do see an option in the build section for a mirror polish.

Anyone have one of these or know if their value is higher or lower than a standard Kobra.

    Thanks

Don't know if it's higher value or not. But they cost more with the mirror finish. They look nice when new, but they show scratches mighty easily .. if that kind of thing bugs you.

I have a Mirror finish in a Delta Elite. If it's the same thing as mine a high mirror polish on a stainless gun the scratches can be just polished out. Value for an EB like that? I have no idea... If you're looking for a BBQ/Court/Sunday go to meeting gun that might fill the bill. Outside of that like an EDC maybe not such a good idea...

Gumby, this is what I mean by polished. I've seen ones like yours before, but never like this one. trying to get an idea of value on it.

WOW, definitely more polished than what's on calguns. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Some would say $3,000 others $2,500 depending on how used it is. BTW, that's California pricing .

Yah, its a nice looking EB, but trying to figure out what its worth. Not looking to pay more just because someone spent time polishing it. ;)

That's the mirror finish I have on my Delta Elite! That's a BBQ gun you got there!

I am a little skeptical that it come from Ed Brown that way. Most of this type of thing is done after market. I wouldn't place any more value on it personally than a regular SS Kobra Carry myself, as it will be a ton of work to maintain that type of finish. I'd say around $2000 imo. Especially in the current market.

Well, maybe if you used a velvet Crown Royal bag as a holster it might work :D

Does the polish job increase its value any? $2000 a good price?

I stated above that $2000 would be max imo... But, $1850 would be a much better price lol ;) But, you normally see these listed in their standard SS condition at around $2200-$2450, but they usually never sell until they hit around the $1850-$2000 mark.
