I have an M4 with a fixed front sight and would like to add a Trijicon MRO. Will the existing sight affect the red dot without having to mount the MRO too high?

Thank you. Almost looks like I will have to actually try one or two on.

If you put it in a "lower 1/3" mount you won't notice the FSB. It just kind of "fuzzes" out.

I prefer a fixed front with a red dot. It also makes plumb line, that helps with shots at distance.

X2! Absolute Cowitness allows for the same sight picture with or with out the dot.

I'd strongly suggest you get a lower 1/3 height mount, so you can get more visual real estate through your optic, otherwise, you will see and will notice the FSB and it is a bummer.

That was my thought, but I should actually get my hands on a couple before I shell out the cash.
