    My customized Springfield Armory Stainless Steele Milspec
    Modifications:
    Cylinder and Slide USMC Spur hammer
    C&S Ultra low mass Sear
    C&S match Disconector
    super crisp 3 lb. trigger pull
    Wilson combat stainless steel extractor
    Harrison Design retro rear sight
    drilled original front sight with green fiber optic rod inserted
    carry melt slide
    Sniper Gray Cerakote

    I like my 1911's to look almost stock but operate like customized machines! Love this pistol.

    No, I didn't take any sight picture pictures yet but I will and I'll post them tomorrow or some time later tonight. Thanks for the welcome to this forum.

    I do like. I'm working on similar projects with a Colt .38 super - 9mm and a soon to stainless Milspec from ACS ^^

    I forgot to mention it also has a Smith and Alexander SS checkered arched MSH, (had to get rid of that ILS) a Brownell's msh rebuild kit and an Ed Brown hammer strut.
    Best of luck and have fun with the customizations Blayglock. It really is a great feeling when you buy a quaility piece and then turn it into your own one of a kind sidekick. This baby will be on my side during an EP job on Wednesday and it's my everyday family protection carry piece. Thanks for all of the responses.

    Very nice. I like idea of keeping the "GI" look but completely pimping out the internals.
