Last year I picked up a very lightly used Springfield RO Elite Compact in 9mm-my second one. Came in the box etc.

I’ve shot it a number of times and it just keeps getting better. It’s my carry 98% of the time.

Today I ran some Speer Lawman 115gr tmj for the first time. Did a couple of the programmed drills then finished at 10 yards for the last 27 rounds. Yup, best $700 I’ve ever spent on a firearm.

A group like that would be worthy of a gun 3x the price! Well done, sir!

Just bought a used Springer RO Champion .45 cal, have yet to shoot it. Spent a little more than yours, but not much. I am looking forward to see how I can do with it.

Under a cloud of "what the hell am I doing" I sold the first one of these I bought right here on this forum. This was after I had the full size RO Elite too LOL. Almost immediately I regretted it. It has a great set of features for a production gun-Black T finish, love the sights (put the green tube in the front), only gun I like thin grips on haha. When I found this one offered on another forum I knew I had to make it mine.

The only change I've made is to put Talon grip tape on the front strap; works great for me. This pistol virtually disappears under a t-shirt in the VMII and during cooler months it rides perfectly in my Palmetto Leather owb.

We all know the first rule is to have a gun with you, this one makes that very easy.

Shown with the SSII I no longer have

I bought a RO Champion 9mm a year or so ago with the express purpose of turning it into my carry gun.
Put sights I wanted on it
Pachmeyer grip so I didn't have to checker the front strap and refinish the gun.
did some trigger work to get the weight where I wanted it. (Still has factory MIM in it)

I'm real happy with mine too. 800.00 gun . So I'm a little more invested than you LOL
I agree it's a great EDC gun for the low cost involved

Great shooting.

The RO Elites were a great line for Springfield.

Great accuracy was the hallmark reported & demonstrated by owners.....at least the owners that know how to shoot, as you clearly do. 👍 👍 👍

I know that thing carries well.

Very nice! Have been intrigued by that pistol for quite some time. Nice to see it shoots so well.
