My covid isolation project. Bobbed the frame on my WC CQB to match the new WC bullet proof one piece mainspring/magwell. I used a cerakote touch up kit from Wolf Pack Armory to recoat the area. It turned out pretty good for a first attempt, the cerakote isnt exact but ill have the whole gun recoated when i have the RMR cut done. I also put together a new set of panels/coins for it.

i put the mainspring in and marked it then free handed it.

Nice! I've rounded off the back end on my two 1911s, and they feel much better in my hand.

It may not be for everyone, but I'm usually more of a 'form follows function' type and this works for me.

Yup. Super easy. I let Stoner CNC do it

I was nervous doing it but im pretty handy with tools and i REALLY wanted it done

Just remember, you can always take more off but you cant put it back. Go slow
