Seeing my fellow Addicts go on about the joys of 9mm 1911's sparked my interest in one. 9mm being so dang cheap right now made it all the more tempting. I started looking for one about two months ago and nothing really jumped out at me in my price range. I saw this Colt in the classifieds with some tasteful upgrades like a Harrison retro ignition set, slide milled for Kensight Bomar style sights, and an Ed Brown checkered mainspring. I was only able to put maybe 70 rounds through it after picking it up, but I'm going to shoot the snot out of it today. I think the guns absolutely beautiful, it's well balanced, has a great trigger, and just feels like an extension of my arm when I hold it. This Pony gave me "the feeling" that I expected but didn't quite get from my Dan Wesson A2 Commander. I'm thinking that's just because it's a Commander and I'm finding I really prefer full size.
