Finally in my hands after a long 11 month wait. I ran 500 rounds through it straight away today. Zero regrets, its incredible. Build quality easily rivals any full custom 1911 out there.

Took it apart for a quick clean and had a look at some of Infinitys proprietary tech. Check out the extractor design. Giant hook but I have no idea yet how to service it if I need to. Lots of cool details that ive never seen in any other 19/2011. I didnt get into the frame yet. Gun is assembled super tight.

Also got the SVI toolkit and a big spare parts kit to go with the gun. I think I am good for recoil springs for awhile 😂

They really do make excellent guns! Breechface comes out by removing the 2.5mm hex in the firing pin hole, from there it’s a pin that holds the extractor/spring in. Nice design with the extractor built in compared to their older system where you had to fit a new extractor when you did the caliber change (which never blended nicely to the rear of the slide without excessive work).

Thank you!!! Im assuming the lower end comes apart pretty much like any other 2011? Everything is so tight im a little nervous about trying to detail disassemble it..
Can’t wait to see some of your runs on the monthly’s with that thing! Curious, why go with the sight tracker and red dot? Just the weight reduction on the slide? Awesome gun!

No specific reason, other than that has always been Infinitys “thing” and ive always wanted one. I like red dot everything now, cant go back to irons. After shooting today, it does seem to be way flatter than my Staccato P but the weight and recoil impulse will all take a bit of adjustment.

Very tastfully spec'd build. Looks awesome. I was very close to going with that serration pattern on mine.

That looks great, congrats on the new gun. I like how low the red dot sits in the slide, enjoy that one.

Great looking build it’s actually quite similar to mine I have coming soon. What ammo did you run through it?
Mostly cheap training ball factory ammo, and 50 rounds of HST +P all without a hiccup. All mags lock the slide back on empty as well.

That’s a nice gun, congrats! I’m glad 95_Integra explained that extractor design. I was scratching my head while looking at the pics on how that worked.

Luckily I found a couple old videos describing the takedown as well and how to tackle some of the trickier parts. I think ill be alright, just have to be careful. This gun is tight unlike any gun ive ever seen.

A friend of mine has a STI with that type of barrel, and it was very accurate until the barrel is shot out.

I just wonder if the rib on top adds to the accuracy, since that would keep the barrel from twisting , so all there is left to worry about is the up and down movement of the barrel.

Sofar it is shooting insanely well. Tracks awesome and great return to zero.
