Stay tuned for the detail strip, pics, and write up!
Another pic from a recent range trip with my Shadow
Definitely one of my favorite Baers -- wish I had the time to shoot mine that much.
So much cooler than a safe queen.
One of the Baer's that put me over the top to finally buy one. Glad to see you're still shooting her. Thought we lost you to that CZ.
Looking forward to the detail strip.
Lol. I’m shooting Production so sadly (for the Baer) I’ll be shooting the Shadow a lot more in the coming year at least. But I do plan to practice with the Baer just for fun even though I’m not competing with it.
Awesome! Looks great too
What a great testimony to The Baer philosophy, a great hard use pistol built to go the distance, congratulations.
There’s nothing, nothing better then a well worn Baer doing it’s thing tough as nails
Like a best friend , irreplaceable.
I love these updates. Makes me want to shoot my Baer more often. Looking forward to the write up and more pictures!
I'm not sure what it is about the Baer 1911's, but they just look "Different"...
Like a work horse.
Other 1911's just don't seem to capture that look.
I have said it earlier, a Baer just has that "old school" sole. It is post like these that make me want to buy back the one I sold, I really need to stay off this forum, lol.
Looking forward to more details.
Still looks like it did the first week!
Awesome. Looks like a workhorse. Nice job.

Pics of the gun cleaned up... I always forget how smooth this gun is, when it's clean the slide feels like it's on ball bearings.
Some of the important parts after detail stripping and cleaning...
Gorgeous Baer, beautifully used.
Any report on issues, parts needing replacement, repair, etc?
Too cool. Would love to shoot this one again!
Have you replaced any parts at all, or is everything original?
It really is beautiful, and as someone already pointed out- it's living the life it was built for.
I had Alchemy do some mods at 5k rounds, and then at 30k the barrel broke (there’s a thread here about it, one of the feet broke off) and they fit a new barrel. Other than that all parts are original.
