The stippling and other machine work was in addition to the Virago package.

The finish detail on the slide top and, actually, everywhere, is amazing. His 2011s look great and shoot incredibly well. But the looks and shooting experience you get from a Virago 1911 is out of this world. One of his early packages was for a 1911 in 10mm that feels and shoots like it was forged by the hand of God.

 

That's just dead sexy right there. I need to get on his books.

 

I am hopeful that as new optics for our pistols continue to appear someone will come up with one that actually looks good as well as works good. The new stuff really helps a shooter. But the optic and mount are butt ugly on a 1911. There must be a way to make it look smooth. All the stuff out now ruins the looks of a 1911 pistol. I love the extra finish touches on the colt.
