My local gun store called me this afternoon! :whoo:

I field stripped and cleaned it. Whatever testing ammo Ruger uses sure does fire dirty. The barrel bushing fit is real tight. I couldn't nudge it with my thumb. I had to use the supplied tool. I managed to reassemble it without putting an "idiot" scratch on it.

The holiday season is taking up most of my free time. I can't wait until the holidays are over, so I can get to the range.

So... any suggestions on which 1911 I should get next?

Congrats on a new gun. Love them days myself. As far as next that is up to you and your tastes in 1911s. I say all of them that you can afford.
