My thoughts and most sincere thank you to those who didn't make it home. Rest in peace brothers.
Grateful appreciation to all those who have sacrificed for our freedoms. Fly old glory high this weekend and remember those who continue to make it possible!

On this weekend only, I can only fly the flag after 12:00 PM as I cannot fly it at half-staff in the morning. But she does go up at noon.
Am I overly sensitive in being offended by people selling things and attaching their sales to Memorial Day? Or am I being overly respectful?
Greed runs the world Sir. I tend to ignore most of the sales pitches and whatnot that goes on at this time and just try to focus on the important stuff.
Nope,.....i never buy anything because of these sales. I actually boycott them as much as possible.
I guess I'm weird though......i still get cold chills during the playing of the National Anthem.
A video showing all the American Military Cemeteries outside the US. I have a relative buried at Meuse-Argonne from WWI. The ad (Reagan speech) afterwards is well worth watching.
DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY

I never served but this weekend is a special one for me. Braver men than I have died so that I am free in the greatest country in the world. Albeit in a shitty state. This isn't an opportunity to buy cheap crap, it's an opportunity to raise a glass to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you to all who've served, past and present.
