Hello,
Been wanting a threaded barrel for my 1911 but mine are Colts with narrow hood. If I buy a typical wide hood barrel, a gunsmith should be able to fit it with no issues, right? And possibly do a barrel bushing fit?

Life is easier when you with in driving distance of a good 45 mechanic, oh Gunsmith sorry! LOL.
Guys in the shop used to call us gun plumbers, so that is abasement by the way.
