I have enjoyed my time here, and realize this post may end it. I’m not a troll. I own more handguns, shotguns, long guns and ARs than I can count. I also own an SBR. I have dealt with and personally met members here. I have lost a family member today in Nashville, a child. Is there no middle ground?

The second wasn’t written because we need to be worried about a deer uprising. Shall not be infringed. That’s it, full stop. I’m all for mental health care reform and that some people shouldn’t necessarily have all their rights. Like, if you want to chop off your junk, no guns for you, and how about no voting either.

Trans Nashville shooter seen firing through door of Christian school

Audrey Hale, 28, was shot dead by police after killing three children and three staff members in a Nashville school on Monday. She was born female, but is believed to be living as a man.

It shows her on camera driving around looking for parking. Then it cuts to her already shooting her way in thru the door. What it DOES NOT show is her exiting her vehicle and walking up to the door? If we are to assume the way she looked walking around inside in vest toting two rifles is how she looked when she exited her car and walked toward the school than I would simply say someone who’s sole job is to watch the cameras might have been able to alert people before she ever got to the front door. Her look is definitely not normal. This is something we could learn from. Something that may help prevent another one. An alert person watching cameras combined with a single armed committed RSO might have helped to prevent this? I said MIGHT. Just looking for other prevention methods than simply blaming the tools she used.

You ever see these nut jobs shoot up a federal building or a police station? If they were crazy enough to try it how far would they get? Funny how the United States has all this money to give to other countries to fight their wars but just can't afford to add some sort of armed protection at our schools.

Precisely. We need to clean up our own house before we start working on the neighbors. There are TONS of qualified folks that would be wiling to undergo a mental evaluation and qualify on whatever course they would like to set up that would volunteer a few days a month to stand sentry at schools. I know I sure would. It seems like people aren't willing to have a conversation about the fact that we need to be willing to protect our kids with force instead of additional laws that criminals don't follow.

No disrespect to the thread, but people need to stop calling the shooter a Girl or a Female.
The shooter was a Mentally Disturbed "Transgender" He was born a Male.

She sent texts to someone saying she planned to die today and it was not a joke. How much time elapsed between these and the event? From the video it almost seems like the recipient of these texts alerted somebody but nothing was done or acted upon. Also mentions the types of drugs these people get and how their condition is no longer looked at as a disorder but instead a ‘medical condition’. That needs to change. Anyone getting these types of gender reassignment drugs or treatments should be medically classified as one with a ‘mental disorder’. Stop lying to yourself and parroting the leftist ideology that this is just another normal person.

Wow... once again warning signs are ignored. Most of these shooters were "on the radar" before acting, but nothing is done to prevent their actions.

If it’s shown these texts were hours prior maybe yes. But if she sent them moments before there’s not much that could have been done. But we are now a day after and already seeing these type things. Let’s see her instagrams, Snapchats and TikToks. I bet there are many. Let’s see the long winded ‘letter’ that was supposedly found in her home. I bet you are right. There were signs missed.

But my ears are closed to ‘we must enact further gun legislation’. 1000 or more gun laws on the books and NONE of them have ever prevented a school shooting. Just one more will work they say. NO F U I say!

You touched on something that nobody talks about.. but look at the time line..when did we start to have mass shootings by young adults.. and when did schools start forcing kids onto ADD / ADHD drugs ? A 10 yr old has enough energy to power a small City..then you put 20 of them in the same room.. So drug them.. ? Ok.. but their developing brains sizzle in Adderall, Ritalin, etc for 10 yrs and................???? I think this angle should be looked at. Most of the shooters were on these drugs for yrs when they were kids.

No different than the side effects from the covid jab big pharma will never allow a discussion on the side effects of these anti depressants.

So this shooter was the typical, had mental issues, known to authorities, allowed to purchase a firearm legally, ATF, FBI sit back and just wait for this ticking time bomb to go off. It seems to be the pattern. If they aren't going to address the mental issues, then this won't stop, or maybe the left doesn't want this to stop. The left wasted no time blaming MAGA, the right and guns.

Just got off the Fox news site, they are asking the Republicans what are they going to say to the parents. I say the republicans need to ask the Democrats what they are going to say to the parents. The elevated this sick twisted freak to a level of saint hood and protected his freak twisted life style with woke LGBTQA+ policies. They should be begging for forgiveness because they are forcing that life style down our throats instead of calling it out for what it is.

A-fudgeing-men. I don't even recognize the nation we live in anymore. The VAST majority is forced to cater to a VERY small portion of the minority and if you don't placate a person with a literal dong and balls by calling them a woman you're the bad guy. I just don't understand it.That's one small example, but Jesus, I'm terrified for my son growing up with our country in it's current state. I just pray if it's going to kick off it happens before I'm too old and he's old enough.
