Need A Recoil Spring for my STI Staccato P Duo .45ACP

I managed to buy one of the last STI Staccato P Duos in .45ACP back in 2019, and it is now time to change the recoil spring. Unfortunately, there is no internet info available on where to buy springs for it. The spring is only half the size of a 5" spring and is closed on both ends, so am guessing the spring design is unique to the pistol.

Emailing Stacato was (as usual) not helpful at all. As a next to last resort I have ordered springs from Dawson meant for their toolless guide rod.

For those few of us who have this pistol in .45, what springs are you using?

Is it a captured spring system?? Do you have a picture you can post for us to see

As I wrote, they were of no help, merely telling me I needed an 18lb spring. Their site only has Dawson springs meant for the Dawson tool-less recoil system. I have a set of them coming from Dawson, even though I do not have that recoil system.

Now that you know the recommended spring weight I would measure it and call ISMI. I found them very helpful on an issue recently. The guy was working from home and spent a lot of time on the phone with me and told me to cut four loops off a spring regarding another pistol rather than pushing to sell me a new one, I was impressed. My 45 hasn't been shot a lot and if you need me to measure my spring let me know.

4.15" barrel

Thank you! I checked their site but found nothing.

Is "Recoilmaster" a company name?

Edit: I just ordered a set of their heavy springs.
