I would use one flush fit mag in the gun for carry, but my reload mags would be higher capacity. 10 round MetalForms work great in my Ruger 9mm Commander for extra mags

I'm still waiting on my Wilson Combat mags to arrive. I've always heard and read that WC's are really good. Sometimes ammo not feeding properly or slide sometimes not locking back with some brands have been fixed by using these mags. I'd go with Wilson's.

My Valor came with and runs fine on Metalform flush fit 9 round mags. Check-Mate and Ed Brown (Check-Mate) work equally well in all my other 1911 9mm.

Sorry....my bad, no experience with officer 8 round mags. I'll stick my neck out and say I have had no issues with Mec-Gar mags in my Springfield EMP and I do know they make 8 round officer mags in 9mm.

That is an officers length grip if my eyes are seeing correctly.

FBG- not flush fitting but I carry these in my Dan Wesson ECO and STI Escort when I carry an Officer size 1911.

Tripp Cobra mags 10 round capacity that they cut down to 9 rounds. Gives me 9+1...

Tripp will make them for you if you ask. My LGS has some made and I bought a few...

Enjoy your new pistol!
