Pics re-attached. Thank you for all the replies.
God forbid you should shoot it . . . . .
Of course, I don't own one of those . . .
I own a couple, when received they were flawless; I wouldn’t accept it.
On a Guncrafter, no. On anything else, anything is possible.
Completely up to you. It'll shoot just fine; it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it; and you'll get more dings over time.
But, at that price, I'd reach out to Derek at Guncrafter and ask for a RMA. They'll fix it.
Oh hell naw!

Why are you holding them above the others?
Not ideal but there are variances in customs. Might be the most accurate pistol on the planet, but with a slight imperfection at the end of the frame. If it bothers you just ask @DPGI
I'd reach out to them and send them some pictures and see what they say. Your pictures are blown up, probably making it worse.
When I collected watches there was a rule NEVER look at your watch with a loop. You'd think your Rolex was assembled by blind elves
My statement was from my cynical point of view combined with sarcasm. In all reality, I would expect something like that to be overlooked by Wilson or Baer.
Also. The point has been posted that it is blown up to macro. It may not look that bad at normal distance. Like a woman who looks good from afar but far from good.
Does it shoot?
yep and you can see the bottom of the frame inlet looks like it was mauled by a hammer.
Course I would have also thrown it in a kydex holster and fired a few hundred rounds before noticing anything.. lol
Not acceptable! I’m sure they’ll take care of that!
OP why did you remove the post? Curious to see and know what the issue was / is

GI has been very responsive over the weekend and has offered to fix the gun. I'm trying to work a refund/exchange with the GI dealer where the gun was purchased and will keep the forum updated. Thanks so much for all the feedback so far.
They have a excellent reputation and I think they will make you happy
Which gunsmith was identified on the target?
GI's service is stellar, no matter how major or minor the issue is.
