New the forum. Came here to read and study up. Ever since working the gun counter at the local sporting goods store in high school, I’ve been obsessed with 1911s. It was my first pistol purchase and I’ve owned a few. While I own other guns, the 1911 platform will always be my go-to.

I’ve recently had a stroke of luck as my next door neighbor offered to build me a custom gun and I couldn’t say no!

I moved across town in 2018 and you could say I won the neighbor lottery. In addition to being a great guy, a great neighbor, and now a friend, this dude builds some awesome guns!
