Hello,

New here but not new to 1911s. My first handgun was a kimber pro TLE/RL. It's the only one I still own and used in IDPA CDP courses. I moved on to uspsa/2 and 3 gun. So double stack 9mm, primarily glocks. Recently decided to step up to 2011s, still in the market.

Colt GC national match w/ comp

Sti ss 5.0 threaded
Caspian frame (never built lol)

Hello and welcome to the forum from North Carolina. I'm also in the market for a 2011. I'm not sure just yet of what I will buy.

I started shooting a 17 in 3GUN.. tricked out 17… lotta guys get Irritated at glocks on this forum but,, for 3GUN it’s a winner. Recently started shooting a 92FS LTT Custom in 3GUN.. for me smoother blow back. I shot the 1911 customs in CQB stages,, better point of aim for me in close,, through windows and slotted doors. 1911’s the way to go.👍🇺🇸

Welcome aboard from beautiful BF Egypt. I started in IPSC in the 70s obviously with tuned Colts. Did make the move to 9mm a year or so ago and having a ball since it's easier on my old bones that shot to many "warm" IPSC loads. I will stay single stack, my reloads are still good.
