New here but not new to 1911s. My first handgun was a kimber pro TLE/RL. It's the only one I still own and used in IDPA CDP courses. I moved on to uspsa/2 and 3 gun. So double stack 9mm, primarily glocks. Recently decided to step up to 2011s, still in the market.

Appreciate the welcomes. I found the NFA section and dumped a lot of photos in there of some of my current items. I will have to look for photos others.
As for my 2011 search, I'm pretty sold on STI/Staccato preferably 5.0 tactical, 4.0 tactical, Marauder, or 2019 staccato p. I try to do a lot of low light/ night shoots so WML is a must.
As for my glocks, I highly doubt I'll ever be without one. I'm sorry they are ugly and have certain reputations but they fit my hand and just work. 🤷♂️ I rotate carrying G43x w 507k and light, G45 w RMR and light, S&W 340pd, and S&W 327pc w light.
I'm north of the city. You KCish guys should come out and shoot action pistol at Pioneer. Don't need anything special, just bring something you like to shoot and a holster and mags.
