Not really new - a lurker since 2019 for general information as I quickly caught the 1911 bug. I consider myself an amateur gunsmith but when it comes to 1911’s there’s so much to learn - and save for - this affinity for 1911’s can get pricey fast and I like being married

Welcome aboard from beautiful BF Egypt. My condolences, as a Native Californian I bailed years ago to a sane state. Conservative and gun friendly. You did miss the great days of 1911 competition shooting in SoCal. Great fun!
