hello to all, found this on the glock forum. i have, 9mm's, 40 s&w's, 45's, 22's , glocks, browning, kel tec, h&k, kimber, colts, ruger. my favorite is the 45's. have a 01911 colt repoduction new in box, only 500 made. traded a kimber 3in. ss custom shop and 200.00 bucks. and never looked back. any thing smaller than 4 1/4 in bbl. does have some problems. pyper45.

Welcome aboard, Pyper. Sounds like your collection is off to a good start. What's your favorite 1911 you shoot that you have?

Pyper, Congrats. But i hate to burst your bubble as i'm sure you are proud rightfully so of your Colt.
But unless you plan on trying to double your price in the future shoot that puppy. Your talking about a thousand dollar gun
not a six thousand one. Just my opinion. Enjoy.

Welcome aboard Pyper. Ditto above. I'd shoot the snot out of that thing or use it as a basegun for a nice build.....then shoot the snot out of that thing. :thumb:

Yeah, I'm with Hokie. I've had a few guns that I felt were 'too nice to shoot' when I bought them, and then I always ended up shooting them anyway. Now I'm completely cured and pretty much know when I buy as gun that it is going to get shot. I can't help it, I'm just a 'gonna shoot 'em' kinda guy. :)

    Welcome to the forum Pyper.

no its a $600-800 dollar gun, and they made near 4000, not 500.

I'd say welcome but you've been here a couple years longer than me.
