New Infinity initial impressions and pictures.
Today was a good day, my Infinity finally came in. I haven’t been this excited about a new gun in a while, except for when I picked up my Charyn Precision recently.
My initial impressions are over the top positive so far. I’m truly impressed! The quality and craftsmanship are second to none.
I wasn’t sure how it would come out, I kept it on the conservative side but I’m super happy with the finished product, the DLC work feels and looks superb!
I haven’t shot it yet but the grip feels perfect in my hands, all the controls are positive and the trigger is everything I like in a race gun. Short take up, light but crisp break, minimum over-travel and super short and positive reset. They’ve honestly read my mind!
Racking the slide feels so smooth and the first thing I checked at my LGS was slide to frame fit/play. I'm happy to report I was smiling from ear to ear, it feels like a single piece of metal as cliché as that sounds.

I’m terrible at taking pictures but making attempts. I almost went with your serrations, I saved it for the next build in commander size. I gotta work on my reloads and draw speed after your last video 😂Yeah ive been on a tear with mine lately. Its like the only gun ive been posting pics of since I got it.

Im curious, how long was your wait? Mine was right around 11 months, and I was just quoted 12 months most likely for my new build. The full year would be nice so I can try to put some money away, but if its ready ahead of schedule I wont complain!
It was exactly at 11 months too, I ordered it mid June last year. The wait wasn’t so bad, I’m still waiting on an open gun I ordered around the same time as the Infinity! Itll be pretty much the exact same spec as the one I have now. But, ill be going with the full hive/honey nips pattern on the slide and grip.
Matte black DLC throughout again, and blue trigger and basepads. Although ive been debating gold as well.
Ill be using that one as my ccw, minimal round count and this one will be the gun I beat on.

That’s gonna look great too I’m sure! I’m debating a commander in steel vs aluminum Frame for carry but leaning towards steel, although the aluminum frame with steel rail inserts sounds like it could be the best of both worlds in regards to weight and longevity.Itll be pretty much the exact same spec as the one I have now. Looks great. I love it. Similar to my new build. Let me know how you feel about the porting. Right now I don’t have it because Brandon suggested I don’t get it but I am still debating it mainly for esthetic reasons as I think the front end may look a little boring without. Silly reason i know but esthetics are important to me. Lovely build. Congratulations

Nice looking blaster Adam & I suspect your current range trip will back that up. I started w/ an Al frame on my 2nd/current build but before the Zoom Tues. I changed it to steel like my 1st Comm. as I like the weight etc. Also considered porting on the 1st but didn’t (put’s me in USPSA open) & Brandon reinforced my decision to skip it on the 2nd when I picked it up + I like having a green fiber opt. front sight. FWIW the changes after Gunbuilder will be very nice, can’t say more (got a look behind the curtain) & UNC on when they’ll roll out but IMO the juice will be worth the squeeze as I agreed w/ Brandon that GB 1 & 2 could be a tad confusing @ first.That’s gonna look great too I’m sure! Bad ass! Reminds me of the one 1911 Syndicate has.
